garden grove
tea ceremonies, stained glass, a packed ballroom. the day lives in the rooms the family built.
wedding photo & film
garden grove,
with the family.
garden grove is not a cliffside kind of town. it is living rooms and church aisles and banquet halls that fill up with everyone who raised you. we shoot the traditions as they actually happen — not as a sidebar to the portraits.
tea at the house, vows under stained glass, dinner where the whole family dances. the timeline is longer and the rooms are tighter. we have done this. we do not rush you through your own day.
the house
getting ready, tea ceremony, door games, aunts in the kitchen. mixed window light, tight hallways, a lot of people in a small space. we work inside it instead of asking everyone to go stand on a lawn.
the church
stained glass, a long aisle, liturgy that is not a photo op. we learn the rules of the room before the processional, then stay out of the way of it.
the ballroom
grand entrance, speeches, a floor that does not empty. this is the part a lot of photographers phone in. we stay for the energy, not just the first dance.
how a day actually looks
- tea ceremonies at home
- church aisles & stained glass
- christ cathedral
- little saigon & westminster
- hotel ballrooms
- family courtyards
- banquet halls
- the in-between — stairs, hallways, the walk in
a few questions
- Do you charge travel for a Garden Grove wedding?
- No. Santa Barbara to San Diego is home base, and Garden Grove sits in that range. No travel fees in SoCal.
- We have a tea ceremony / traditional portion before the church. Can you cover both?
- Yes. Those hours are the day, not a pregame. We build the timeline so nothing sacred gets squeezed for portraits.
- The day is long — two ceremonies, a banquet, family in from out of town.
- That is a Garden Grove day. We plan coverage around the rooms and the order of things, not a generic eight-hour block.
- We're in Westminster, Fountain Valley, Anaheim — not Garden Grove proper.
- Same stretch of Orange County. If the family is here, we already know the drive.
